ABA agencies vary in how much access they give parents to the therapist’s contact information. Some agencies never provide any therapist contact information to parents, asking instead that they contact the agency scheduler or program supervisor with any changes. However, many independent contractors make their own schedules and will gladly provide their cell phone numbers. If you have your ABA therapist’s contact information, treat it as you would any business professional. Call them only during business hours and be mindful that they may not be able to return your call until the following business day. If you have an emergency, please call the ABA agency office directly.
